MEETING CANCELLED – OUR APOLOGIES – A Talk by Dr Zhu Hennessy

The entry fee remains the same as last year, but due to Covid-19, please bring your own refreshments.

Our original promise  – “We will be keeping an eye on the progress of the pandemic and hope that we will not need to cancel the meeting nearer the time. We will observe guidelines such as physical distancing, as required.”

We are very sorry to cancel, but had begun to realise that some of our members would not be able to attend because they are vulnerable to Covid, and we wouldn’t want people to miss out. Also we would have had to put various measures in place such as distancing, masks etc which might make it a less enjoyable experience. When we originally announced the meeting it was with the proviso that we would review the situation and may have to cancel. The planned talk will be rescheduled for 2022. We continue to keep our eye on the situation with a view to future dates.
